Job summary

AutoNation Collision Center in Fort Worth seeks a skilled Collision Body Technician to restore vehicles to dealer and factory standards. You’ll perform body repairs, welding, alignment, and QC checks, collaborating with estimators and parts staff to ensure accurate parts and timely repairs.

Qualifications

• ICAR certification preferred or interest in becoming certified.
• OEM certification preferred or interest in becoming certified.
• At least two years’ automotive experience.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Estimators and Parts staff to obtain necessary parts.
• Assess vehicle condition to determine additional safety or repair work.
• Perform all body repairs per the estimate.
• Carry out welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame/unibody repairs.
• Operate Collision Center equipment safely and follow PPE standards.
• Inspect all work as a Quality Control measure after completion.
• Mix chemicals per manufacturer directions/specifications.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations affecting Collision Center operations.
• Gain superior product knowledge to provide high-quality repairs.
