Job summary

AutoNation Collision Center is seeking a skilled Collision Body Technician to perform vehicle repairs to dealer and factory standards. You will work with estimators, parts staff, and the production team to ensure timely, high-quality repairs while upholding safety and regulatory requirements.

We value candidates with ICAR and/or OEM certification interest, at least two years of automotive experience, and a valid in-state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• ICAR certification (preferred) or interest to become certified.
• OEM certification (preferred) or interest to become certified.
• At least two years’ automotive experience.
• Must have a valid, in-state driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record.
• Ability to operate an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Estimators and Parts Associates to obtain parts.
• Assess vehicle condition to determine additional safety or repair work.
• Perform all body repairs according to estimate.
• Perform welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame/unibody repairs.
• Operate all equipment in the Collision Center following safety standards.
• Inspect all work as a Quality Control measure when jobs are completed.
• Gain superior product knowledge to provide high quality repairs.
