Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Collision Body Technician to repair vehicles to dealer and factory standards. You will ensure repairs are completed timely with high quality, following safety guidelines on the production floor.

Responsibilities include estimating support, welding, frame/unibody work, QC checks, and communicating with Estimators and Parts Associates. Valid in-state license required; ICAR/(preferred) OEM certification and 2+ years in automotive repair are desired.

Qualifications

• ICAR and OEM certifications preferred.
• At least two years of automotive experience.
• Valid in-state driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform body repairs as outlined on repair orders with accuracy.
• Communicate with Estimators and Parts Associates to obtain parts and information.
• Assess vehicle condition to determine additional safety or repair work.
• Perform welding, body alignment, and frame/unibody repairs as needed.
• Operate collision center equipment safely and in accordance with safety standards.
• Inspect completed work as a Quality Control measure.
