Job summary

AutoNation in Denver is seeking a Collision Body Technician to perform vehicle repairs per dealer and factory standards. You’ll work with Estimators and Parts to complete repairs on time and deliver top-notch results for customers.

The role requires ICAR or OEM certification interest, at least two years of automotive experience, and a valid in-state driver's license. We offer factory training, comprehensive benefits, and clear paths for advancement.

Qualifications

• ICAR certification preferred or interest in becoming certified.
• OEM certification preferred or interest in becoming certified.
• At least two years’ automotive experience.
• Must have a valid, in-state driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record.
• Ability to operate an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Performing work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicating with Estimators and Parts Associates to obtain necessary parts.
• Assessing vehicle condition to determine if additional safety or repair work is needed.
• Performing all body repairs according to the estimate.
• Performing welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame/unibody repairs.
• Operating all equipment in the Collision Center safely and following Safety Standards.
• Inspecting all work as a Quality Control measure after completion.
• Mixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications.
• Understanding and following regulations affecting Collision Center operations.
• Gaining superior product knowledge to provide high-quality repairs.
