Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Collision Body Technician in Fort Lauderdale, FL to perform vehicle repairs per dealer and factory standards. You’ll communicate with Estimators and Parts Associates, assess conditions, and complete repairs, welding, frame/unibody work, and QC checks. A valid in-state license and automotive experience are required; ICAR/OEM certification is preferred or pursued.

Qualifications

• Two years of automotive experience (as stated).
• Valid in-state driver's license with safe driving record (as stated).
• Ability to operate an automobile (as stated).
• ICAR certification or interest in becoming certified (preferred).
• OEM certification or interest in becoming certified (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy (as stated).
• Communicate with Estimators and Parts Associates to obtain necessary parts (as stated).
• Assess vehicle condition to determine additional safety or repair work needed (as stated).
• Perform body repairs, welding, soldering, frame/unibody repairs (as stated).
• Inspect work as Quality Control when jobs are completed (as stated).
