Job summary

AutoNation Collision Center in Dallas is seeking a Collision Body Technician to perform vehicle repairs in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will ensure timely, high-quality repairs and deliver exceptional service to keep customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• ICAR certification preferred or interest in becoming certified.
• OEM certification preferred or interest in becoming certified.
• At least two years of automotive experience.
• Valid in-state driver's license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performing work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicating with Estimators and Parts Associates to obtain necessary parts.
• Assessing vehicle condition to determine if additional safety or repair work is needed.
• Performing all body repairs according to the estimate.
• Performing welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame/unibody repairs.
• Operating all equipment in the Collision Center safely following safety standards.
• Inspecting all work as a Quality Control measure when jobs are completed.
• Mixing chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications.
• Following federal, state, and local regulations affecting Collision Center operations.
• Gaining superior product knowledge to provide high-quality repairs.
