Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to diagnose and repair foreign and domestic vehicles to dealership standards, maintain safety and quality, and collaborate with a professional team to meet productivity targets.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in collision repair, I-CAR/ASE preferred, frame measuring experience, and comfort with shop equipment. We offer weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities across multiple brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of verifiable experience in the collision repair shop industry.
• Complies with manufacturer and dealer safety guidelines and standards.
• I-CAR and/or ASE certification preferred.
• Car-O-Liner frame measuring experience.
• Works effectively as part of a team providing high quality customer service.
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, ladder/climbing; may involve lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel/tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Willingness to submit to background, DMV, and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair foreign and domestic vehicles to dealer specifications.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and meet productivity targets.
• Ensure safe and organized workspace per OSHAs and EPA standards.
• Learn new technical information and techniques through formal training.
• Utilize PPE as required for hazardous environments.
