Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with team KPIs and representing the brand with integrity.

The role requires performing repairs with a variety of tools, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring work quality from start to finish. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use cutting tools, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers for vehicle repair.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior parts.
• Weld and attach parts; prep and repaint vehicles as needed.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
