Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents and body damage; apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields.
• Weld and attach parts; prep and repaint vehicles as required.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles after repair.
