Bergen Community College is seeking a NJ Licensed Athletic Trainer to oversee the intercollegiate athletic health care for its teams. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive athletic training program for prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency care of student-athletes.

The position requires maintaining licensure, certifications, and ongoing education, and involves evening/weekend work with travel to conferences and events.

Qualifikationen

• Maintains current certifications and continuing education as required by NATA BOC.
• Maintains NJ state licensure and CPR/ECC certifications.
• Strong IT skills and ability to document and monitor athletic health care.

• Establishes and maintains an effective athletic training program for collegiate athletics.
• Provides first aid and injury assessment/treatment/rehabilitation/reconditioning and physician referrals.
• Oversees home events and practices from fall to spring seasons.
• Coordinates annual athletic physicals and athlete clearance.
• Maintains communication with team physicians regarding care and rehabilitation.
