Outreach Athletic Trainer position at Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, NJ is a full-time, on-site role with JAG Physical Therapy’s outreach athletic training program.

The AT will provide services for athletic events, manage medical and risk responsibilities, and maintain health records for athletes under contract. NJ licensure and BOC certification are required, with CEU upkeep and liability insurance in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training from CAATE-approved program.
• BOC certification is required.
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey as an Athletic Trainer.
• NJ Department of Education Certificate.
• Maintain 50 CEUs per certification period.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective athletic training program for the contracted site.
• Provide AT services for athletic events and competitions.
• Create and maintain a safe playing environment and monitor environmental risks.
• Coordinate medical and risk management for all athletes affiliated with the contract.
• Document injury, treatment, and rehabilitation per policy and licensure standards.
