Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer in Jersey City, NJ, to provide athletic training services to the Hudson County Community College program under JAG outreach contracts. The AT will practice per state bylaws and the NATA Code of Ethics, with duties adaptable by the Leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training (CAATE Approved program).
• BOC certification and NJ Athletic Trainer license.
• Maintain BOC CEUs every certification period (every 2 years).
• Current BLS certification and personal liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective athletic training program for contracted organization.
• Provide AT services for athletic events and competition.
• Create and maintain a safe playing environment and monitor environmental risks.
• Coordinate medical and risk management for all athletes and maintain health records.
• Collaborate with marketing and promotional initiatives and assist with growth projects.
• Assist with departmental administrative duties and day-to-day operations when not on outreach.
