Job summary

Qualifications include NJ DOE certificate (CE/CEAS), a Bachelor's degree, and NJ State Board registration. CPR/AED certification is required; prior experience with student-athletes is preferred.

Qualifications

• NJ DOE standard certificate, CE/CEAS as required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Registered by NJ State Board of Medical Examiners as Athletic Trainer.
• CPR/AED certification for Professional Rescuer.
• Evidence of experience working with student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care of athletic injuries and coordinate follow-up with medical personnel.
• Maintain the training room supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with team physician on rehabilitation programs and referrals.
• Maintain accurate medical records for injuries and treatments.
• Coordinate injury reporting and medical insurance claims with school nurse and AD.
• Oversee budgeting and inventory of athletic training supplies.
