Job summary

Central Georgia Technical College in Macon is seeking an experienced Welding & Joining Technology Instructor to deliver associate-level welding instruction in classroom and lab settings. You will develop syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments, and may mentor adjunct faculty to ensure program success.

The role requires keeping records, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with college personnel to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Earned Technical Certificate of Credit or higher in Welding and Joining Technology, or some college in field.
• Associate’s degree in Welding and Joining Technology from an educational institution (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide associate-level Welding instruction in classroom and lab settings; develop syllabi and lesson plans.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain grade books and records.
• Mentor adjunct faculty and ensure program requirements are met.
