Lockheed Martin Corporation in Alabama is offering a student internship within technical/engineering organizations, including electronics, software, facilities, and manufacturing engineering. This program supports students during vacations and short-term breaks while enrolled in an accredited degree program. Qualifications

Standard Job Description

Performs assignments in technical/engineering organizations (e.g., Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short-term breaks from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a Technical Bachelor's degree, prefer Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college
• Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Candidate must also be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with 3D CAD, manufacturing assembly and test methods, industrial processes, factory automation, software programming, electrical troubleshooting and benchtop electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $20.14 - $28.15
