Job summary

Quincy College in Quincy, MA seeks an Early College High School Transition Coach to support Avon Middle High School students. The role blends administrative coordination with direct student guidance to navigate college pathways and services.

You will collaborate with the AMHS guidance counselor, QC advisors, and campus staff to create readiness programs, communicate opportunities, and monitor student progress toward postsecondary goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong leadership and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Sensitivity to student needs and barriers to college access.
• Experience in K-12 and/or higher education settings.
• Familiarity with Early College programs is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the ECHS program from an administrative perspective.
• Liaise between ECHS students and Quincy College services.
• Create and facilitate college-readiness programs.
• Collaborate with QC staff to ensure student access to services.
• Develop outreach for ECHS students and families.
• Share newsletters and regular communications to stakeholders.
• Educate students on financial aid, credit transfer, and degree options.
• Coordinate college readiness assessment processes with guidance counselor.
• Attend ECHS site meetings and assist with program changes.
• Track student engagement with academic and support services.
