Job summary

Quincy College is seeking an Early College High School College Transition Coach at Holbrook Middle High School. You will support administrative aspects of the ECHS program and serve as a liaison between students and college services.

Collaborate with the Guidance Counselor to ensure access to college resources, design college readiness activities, and coordinate with faculty for successful transitions to postsecondary education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in directive and supportive leadership.
• Sensitivity to the needs of students.
• Experience working in the K-12 and/or university setting.
• Experience working with an Early College program is preferred but not required.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Early College High School program may find appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Support the ECHS program from an administrative perspective.
• Collaborate with the HMHS Guidance Counselor and act as liaison between ECHS students and Quincy College support services.
• Create and facilitate programs focused on college readiness, student support and academic services.
• Coordinate with QC advisors to ensure ECHS students have access to college services.
• Develop and oversee college readiness assessment processes for ECHS high schools.
• Attend ECHS site team meetings and coordinate with school leadership to meet student needs.
• Adhere to Quincy College and Holbrook Public Schools policies and guidelines related to student welfare and safety.
• Coordinate with staff supporting ELL and Special Education to ensure responsive programming.
