Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of college with coursework in education, counseling, or related field.
• Proficiency with Canvas, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to working with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day coordination of Gateway to College academic support, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Support instructors and counselors in orienting students to college and dual enrollment expectations.
• Provide help with assignments, time management, and navigating Canvas and platforms.
• Assist individuals and small groups in academic skill development across courses.
• Explain concepts and resources to support student learning.
• Help students use lab/classroom technology and campus software.
• Maintain accurate attendance/tutoring/workshop records.
• Prepare instructional materials and operate classroom equipment.
• Participate in outreach, career exploration, and dual enrollment events.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
