Job summary

Columbia Basin College is seeking an Outreach & Recruitment Specialist to connect prospective students and the broader community with CBC. You will develop and deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and events in local high schools and community settings, guiding applicants through the process, including financial aid and academic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in education, training, or non-profit marketing/sales.
• Familiarity with electronic technology and media and demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office and Internet research tools.
• Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of an outreach and recruitment plan for the K-12 system, the greater Tri-Cities community and non-traditional student enrollment to support CBC’s strategic enrollment goals.
• Present workshops and information sessions within the Tri-Cities community and the K-12 system to promote CBC and its programs.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver onboarding workshops on applications, financial aid, and enrollment, including campus outreach events.
• Develop collaborative relationships with counselors and school staff to ensure a coordinated outreach effort in the K-12 system.
• Collaborate with CBC program leads to support coordinated outreach activities.
• Contribute to development and dissemination of CBC marketing materials and e-recruitment activities.
• Leverage CRM to personalize outreach with target audiences and generate monthly activity reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
