Northwestern Mutual invites college students to join its internship program as College Financial Representatives. You’ll build an integrated financial planning practice with guidance from local and nationwide experts, while benefiting from the support of a Fortune 500 company.

The role offers flexible scheduling around class commitments, with opportunities to interview for full-time roles after graduation and access to coaching, licensing, and leadership programs.

Formación

• Full-time student; juniors and seniors preferred.
• Entrepreneurial ambitions and curiosity for sales.
• Highly involved on campus (leader, athlete, campus orgs, student government, etc).
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
• Business savvy and desire to increase critical thinking abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Learn prospecting and networking to build your client base.
• Develop and execute a business strategy for your practice.
• Call on potential clients and set meetings to understand their financial goals.
• Prepare plans and offer useful recommendations.
• Gain exposure to proprietary planning software platforms.
• Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
• Receive licensing support (Life, Accident, and Health).
• Build life skills that support future career opportunities.
