Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Catering Manager at West Virginia Wesleyan College to lead planning, coordination, and execution of catering events. You will collaborate with clients, culinary teams, and vendors to ensure exceptional service in a dynamic campus setting.

You will manage logistics, calendars, and on-site support, maintaining top-quality food and presentation while adapting to client needs and last-minute changes.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in catering, food and beverage, events or related field.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating catering events from start to finish, including logistics, setup, and teardown.
• Serve as the main client contact, addressing inquiries, customizing orders, and aligning event details with client expectations.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules for catering orders, event rentals, and materials.
• Work with culinary and operations teams to ensure accurate preparation and on-time delivery.
• Maintain a master calendar of events and deadlines, attend pre-event meetings, and share event details with relevant parties.
• Liaise with external vendors to arrange equipment, rentals, and services for successful events.
• Provide on-site assistance during events to ensure seamless execution and address last-minute issues.
• Manage catering supplies, equipment, and inventory for upcoming events.
• Ensure all food and services meet company standards for quality and presentation.
