Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Catering Manager at West Virginia Wesleyan College to coordinate planning, logistics, and on-site execution of catering events. You’ll work with clients, culinary teams, and vendors to deliver seamless service in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in catering, food & beverage, events or related field.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Nice-to-have: Safe Food Handler’s Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating catering events from start to finish, including logistics, setup, and teardown.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, customizing orders, and ensuring event details meet client expectations.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules for catering orders, event rentals, and other materials.
• Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Maintain a master calendar of events and deadlines, attend pre-event meetings, and communicate event details to all parties.
• Liaise with external vendors to arrange equipment, rentals, and services for successful events.
• Provide on-site assistance during events to ensure seamless execution and address last-minute issues.
• Manage catering supplies and inventory for upcoming events.
• Ensure all food and service meet company standards for quality and presentation.
