Job summary

Partnership for the Future in the Richmond region seeks a hands‑on College Access Manager to guide high school students, especially first‑generation and high‑achieving seniors, through the college process.

You'll coach 70–80 students, lead family workshops, plan enrichment activities, and build strong relationships with students, families, and community partners in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; two+ years working with high school or college students preferred.
• Experience supporting first‑generation and economically disadvantaged students desired.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team player who can manage projects and caseload independently.

• Coach 70–80 high school students to build a strong college resume, identify top‑choice colleges, and understand the college admissions process
• Lead workshops for students and families on admissions and personal development
• Plan enrichment activities and accompany students on college tours

Partnership for the Future is seeking a passionate College Access Manager to play a hands‑on role in shaping the futures of first‑generation and high‑achieving students across the Richmond region. Partnership for the Future is a college access and success program serving more than 500 students each year, with a mission to prepare high‑achieving high school students for success in college and beyond. The organization primarily serves first‑generation, low‑income students, and its comprehensive year‑round program ensures students have the tools and confidence to graduate from college with a launching pad into successful careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach 70–80 high school students to build a strong college resume, identify top-choice colleges, and understand the college admissions process
• Lead workshops for students and families on admissions and personal development
• Plan enrichment activities and accompany students on college tours
• Stay ahead of admissions trends to give students the best competitive edge
• Build meaningful relationships with students, families, and community partners

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, two or more years working with high school or college students preferred
• Experience supporting first‑generation and economically disadvantaged students is strongly desired.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team player who can manage projects and caseload independently.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

$45,000 – $52,000 / year

• Medical, vision, dental, and life insurance.
