Job summary

College Beyond is seeking a part-time College Access Facilitator to help high school seniors prepare for college and navigate FAFSA, applications, and scholarships. The role focuses on curriculum design, direct facilitation, and ongoing student follow-up across Southeast Louisiana.

The ideal candidate has experience leading college access workshops, can create engaging materials with Canva and Google Suite, and will support first-generation and Pell-eligible students with a healing-centered

Qualifications

• Background facilitating high school workshops in college access, financial aid, or career readiness.
• Ability to independently design creative, student-centered curriculum using Canva and Google Suite.
• Deep cultural competence supporting first-generation and Pell-eligible students with a healing-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Design (~6–8 hrs/wk): Create engaging, student-centered slide decks, facilitation guides, and handouts incorporating modern student culture and social media formats
• Direct Facilitation (4 hrs/wk): Lead weekly workshops across 3 partner high schools covering college fit, FAFSA/financial aid, applications, essay writing, and career pathways
• Student Follow-Up & Meetings (~6 hrs/wk): Communicate next steps with students, track data, and sync weekly with team members

Are you interested in working with high school seniors? Do you have experience creating and facilitating post-secondary curriculum? If so, this may be a great opportunity for you (or someone you know) to help our College Beyond high school seniors get to and through college!

College Beyond is hiring a part-time College Access Facilitator starting at $30/hour (18–20 hours/week) for the 2026–2027 academic year in Southeast Louisiana.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Design (~6–8 hrs/wk): Create engaging, student-centered slide decks, facilitation guides, and handouts incorporating modern student culture and social media formats
• Direct Facilitation (4 hrs/wk): Lead weekly workshops across 3 partner high schools covering college fit, FAFSA/financial aid, applications, essay writing, and career pathways
• Student Follow-Up & Meetings (~6 hrs/wk): Communicate next steps with students, track data, and sync weekly with team members

Qualifications:

• Background facilitating high school workshops in college access, financial aid, or career readiness
• Ability to independently design creative, student-centered curriculum using tools like Canva and Google Suite
• Deep cultural competence supporting first-generation and Pell-eligible students with a healing-centered approach
• Reliable personal transportation for traveling between partner schools, plus willingness to complete NCAN training and a background check
