Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking a Collector II for a leading national bank in Wayne, NJ. You will communicate with customers in delinquent status to discuss and resolve accounts to the bank's satisfaction.

Responsibilities include skip-trace to locate customers, researching credit reports and related sources, troubleshooting issues, and updating contact information to keep accounts viable. Strong communication and basic math are required, with a 1st shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years in collections or call center.
• Strong verbal and written communication; telephone skills.
• Pay rate: $21.00–$24.00 per hour, 1st Shift.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook).

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required Experience: Education and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in collections or call center environment.
• Pay Rate: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour 1st Shift
