Job summary

State Credit Union is seeking a Collections Supervisor who will lead a team of Loan Adjusters to drive accountability and professional growth. You will coach daily, manage performance, and ensure the team has resources to deliver exceptional member service while meeting departmental goals.

You will act as a subject matter expert on complex delinquent accounts, working with leadership to ensure compliant practices and effective resolutions across the state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; collections or loan servicing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred; a bachelor's degree may substitute in place of related work experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; comfortable coaching employees.
• Valid driver’s license; occasional travel within the state may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Loan Adjusters with coaching and performance management.
• Monitor productivity, ensure policy compliance, and foster a high-performing work environment.
• Serve as escalation point for complex member accounts; advise on repayment options, repossessions, and charge-offs.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve processes and efficiency.
• Prepare reports and assist with legal proceedings; ensure regulatory compliance.
