Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a driven Collections Specialist to join our finance team in Northwest Houston. This role manages outstanding customer balances, ensures timely payment of invoices, and maintains strong relationships with commercial clients using SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities include portfolio management, AR monitoring, payment research, dispute resolution, and contributing to month-end close.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas; pivot tables a plus).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and follow up on past-due invoices.
• Contact customers via phone and email to secure payment and resolve outstanding balances.
• Maintain professional relationships while enforcing company payment terms.
• Document all collection activity and customer communications in SAP or internal systems.
• Review AR aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and prioritize collection efforts.
