Job summary

Gulf Winds is seeking a Collections Officer in Pensacola, FL to manage delinquent loan accounts and drive recovery efforts. You will contact members via phone, mail, text, and email, educate them on options, and coordinate with the Repo Specialist when needed.

The role emphasizes building rapport, applying repayment strategies, and maintaining compliant, accurate records while contributing to department targets and overall member service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections or debt recovery preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Contact delinquent accounts by phone, mail, or email to secure payments and set up repayment plans.
• Document interactions and update account information in the system.
• Collaborate with management to identify trends affecting delinquency rates.
• Monitor accounts and report on progress toward recovery goals.
• Ensure compliance with FDCPA and internal policies.
