Job summary

Blaze Credit Union is seeking a Collector to carry out all collection activities and minimize delinquency from our St. Paul location. This in-office role requires a Saturday rotation and is based at our St. Paul office.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of collections experience, knowledge of bankruptcy and debt restructuring, and strong communication and math skills. You will adhere to laws and contribute to meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree or equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ experience in collections.
• Experience in bankruptcy and debt restructuring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all collection activities for the credit union.
• Respond to member and employee inquiries about collections.
• Work to collect on delinquent loans and accounts.
• Offer guidance on remedies and future steps for collection items.
