Job summary

DBL Law is seeking a Collections Paralegal in Covington, Kentucky, to support a supervising attorney group and enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. You will prepare and organize files, manage case statuses, and draft correspondence to debtors, clients, and courts.

The ideal candidate has foreclosure or litigation experience, strong research and communication skills, and proficiency with Q-Law and Microsoft Office, while maintaining client confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Foreclosure experience and/or litigation experience with drafting and filing.
• Strong research, analytical, critical-thinking, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to format and produce professional documents.
• Experience with Q-Law or similar case-management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize files, documentation, and supporting materials for attorney review.
• Manage daily workflow by updating case statuses, accurately coding accounts within the system (Q-Law), and reviewing legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Draft and prepare written correspondence to debtors, clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Conduct skip-tracing to obtain updated location and contact information.
• Communicate regularly with debtors, clients, attorneys, and court personnel to obtain information and support case progression.
• Other duties as assigned.
