Job summary

Félix is seeking a Collections Operations Manager to own and scale our U.S. consumer-lending collections function. This hands-on leadership role will redesign the operating model, craft data-driven repayment strategies, and ensure scalable technology and controls.

You will balance portfolio performance with compliant contact practices and an empathetic experience for a largely Spanish-speaking Latino customer base, working with Credit Risk, GRC, Product, Data and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of consumer collections operations and recoveries.
• Designed collections strategy and measured impact on numbers.
• Led teams and/or agencies; able to quantify productivity and quality.
• Knowledge of FDCPA/Regulation F, TCPA and state rules.
• Experienced with collections platforms and vendor management.
• Strong portfolio analytics, segmentation and forecasting skills.
• Hands-on leader with cross-functional collaboration ability.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; strong communication.
• Experience with Latino U.S. customer base preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own collections strategy and end-to-end execution from early delinquency to recoveries.
• Architect and implement collections tech stack and integrations.
• Drive portfolio performance with data, experiments and optimization.
• Embed compliance into operations with policy and controls.
• Build and lead a high-performing, scalable team and external partners.
• Plan capacity and ramp for growth across states.
