Tenaquip, Ltd. is seeking a Collections Agent to actively manage overdue accounts, negotiate payment plans, and resolve billing issues. You will maintain accurate records, collaborate with Sales, and monitor aging to minimize risk while preserving customer relationships.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and Excel proficiency, with bilingual FR/EN capabilities for cross-Canada interactions.

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related field.
• Experience in collections and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation, customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Knowledge of payment portals (Ariba, Taulia) is an asset.
• Bilingual French and English required for Canada/partner interaction.

• Manage and collect overdue customer accounts via calls, emails, and written correspondence.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and plans following company policies.
• Monitor aging and follow up on balances to reduce financial risk.
• Maintain accurate records of collections activities and communications.
• Resolve inquiries, disputes, and discrepancies professionally and timely.
• Assess risk and escalate to further actions as needed.
• Review accounts for credit holds or releases per policy.
• Collaborate with Sales and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
• Manage customer invoice portals, submit documentation, track payments.
• Prepare collection reports and status updates for management.
• Achieve collection targets while maintaining positive relationships.
