Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM) is seeking a Collateral Specialist to close loan applications. You will receive and scan original closing documents, input collateral data in LOS, and coordinate with processing, closing, and settlement teams.

The role requires knowledge of mortgage documents, attention to accuracy, and proficiency with Word and Excel. Prior experience with Ellie Mae Encompass 360 is preferred; physical stamina to stand and lift up to 25 lbs may be needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mortgage loan documents.
• Ellie Mae Encompass 360 experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming original signed closing documents from settlement and escrow agents.
• Scan all original closing packages daily.
• Input collateral shipping fields accurately in LOS system.
• Maintain familiarity with residential mortgage documents.
• Work directly with processing, closing, and settlement agents.
