Job summary

JetHomeLoans is seeking a Collateral Manager to oversee the receipt, imaging, storage, and tracking of closing packages and collateral documents. The role requires ensuring compliance with collateral agreements, maintaining reporting systems, and mitigating risks across collateral transactions.

Responsibilities include warehouse coordination, MERS registration, vault management, and cross‑functional collaboration with finance, risk, and legal teams to optimize processes and ensure timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
• 3-5 years in Mortgage Lending with 2+ years in a managerial role focusing on post-closing or collateral.
• Proven leadership experience, ability to manage a team across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tracking, transfer and shipping of original and eNotes to warehouse banks and custodians.
• Review collateral documents for accuracy before shipping.
• Act as primary contact for investors and warehouse banks.
• Ensure funded loans are registered in MERS within timing requirements; knowledge of eNote</br>process is a plus.
• Manage secure storage and reconciliation of paper and electronic notes.
• Communicate effectively to resolve exceptions with external partners.
