Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in an operational role within financial services, or similar risk/margin responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated collaboration across teams and ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client portfolios and collateral calls to mitigate counterparty risk.
• Perform margin calculations, investigate exceptions, and approve collateral settlements.
• Support SIMM requirements and related margin processes.
• Engage with clients to resolve collateral disputes and onboard new relationships.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to resolve collateral-related issues and ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile portfolios, investigate differences, and optimize collateral usage.
• Complete monthly interest and coupon settlements within deadlines.
• Maintain robust controls to ensure integrity and effectiveness of processes.
• Manage intercompany margining across Goldman Sachs entities and jurisdictions.
• Identify process gaps and propose practical, scalable improvements.
• Analyze complex issues, prioritize tasks, and manage risk effectively.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
