Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC in Anniston, AL, is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for Pre-K and Kindergarten. You will provide IEP-driven instruction, collaborate with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure progress toward IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for Alabama Early Childhood Special Education P–3 certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Experience or knowledge supporting young children with disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, IEP-driven instruction and support for Pre-K and Kindergarten students
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support students in inclusive classroom settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate data, reports, and compliance documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Differentiate instruction based on individual developmental and educational needs
• Support positive behavior, functional skills, and student engagement
• Ensure compliance with state and district guidelines for IEP development, timelines, and implementation
