Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for Alabama Collaborative Special Education 6–12 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, and progress monitoring.
• Experience in inclusive or collaborative settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide IEP-driven instruction and support for students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and school teams to support students across inclusive and specialized classroom settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications.
• Differentiate instruction based on individual developmental, academic, and functional needs.
• Support positive behavior, functional skills, and student engagement.
• Ensure compliance with state and district guidelines for IEP development, timelines, and implementation.
