Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and enforce behavior codes.
• Plan lessons aligned with state and school standards.
• Develop and submit lesson plans for feedback.
• Collaborate with instructional coach to improve instruction.
• Ensure curriculum remains aligned to standards.
• Collaborate with special education to implement inclusive practices.
• Participate in extracurricular activities.
• Maintain records and confidentiality; time and effort reporting.
• Communicate with parents and provide regular updates.
• Serve on grade-level, school improvement or other teams.
• May participate in grant-funded programming.
• Other duties as assigned.
