Job summary

MGT is seeking an experienced Collaboration Presales Engineer to translate customer requirements into scalable UC and collaboration architectures, including Teams Phone, Cisco Webex, Zoom, and mass notification solutions. You will partner with sales to deliver technical presentations and tailored proposals.

You will lead demonstrations, design voice and video systems, integrate APIs, provide architectural oversight, and support project startups through implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a technology field.
• Minimum 2 years pre-sales engineering.
• Proven large-scale collaboration designs.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Translate requirements into designs and cost estimates.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer presentations and solution discussions, virtually and on-site.
• Collaborate with sales to tailor collaboration solutions.
• Design and recommend UC, telephony, video, contact center solutions.
• Provide architectural oversight for complex projects.
• Support project startup and post-sales technical assistance.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOMs, system designs, and cost estimates.
• Identify managed services opportunities (monitoring, SIEM/SOC, cloud VoIP).
• Evaluate network readiness, QoS, latency, jitter, and packet loss for real-time traffic.
• Travel to client locations as required.
