Job summary

Sysco Corporation is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for general warehouse functions including loading, unloading, receiving, put-away, and order selection in a cold and dry environment. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must work effectively in a team environment.
• Must communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Must observe and communicate observations to others responsible for equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow WMS directed pick path and stage product for shipment.
• Stack pallets with heavy items on bottom and secure with shrink wrap.
• Record item information in the warehouse system.
• Inspect products for shortages or damage and report.
• Complete pallet jack certification and perform PWMs.
• Operate MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
• Maintain neat, clean work areas and accurate warehouse locations.
• Follow safety rules and report unsafe issues.
• Adhere to company policies and HACCP/OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
