Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate to perform general warehouse functions including loading, unloading, depal, put-away, replenishments and product selection in accordance with PWMs. The role requires work in freezer, cooler and dry environments with extreme temperatures and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include moving pallets with material handling equipment, inspecting products for damage, performing replenishments, and ensuring safe storage.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision and co-workers.
• Certification on material handling equipment is required or the ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Follow tasking to transport pallets safely between staging areas using PWMs.
• Operate MHE to move pallets, with emphasis on reach forklifts.
• Inspect products for shortages or damage and report to supervisor.
• Replenish and place pallets at designated locations while following PWMs.
• Ensure pallets are secure with shrink wrap for delivery and storage.
• Bring heavier items on the bottom when carrying multiple pallets.
