Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate responsible for loading, unloading, receiving, put-away, replenishments, and product selection as needed. You will work in freezer, cooler, and dry environments, adhering to PWMs and safety standards to meet productivity targets.

You will use RF equipment to accurately log items, inspect product quality, and maintain clean, organized locations while operating MHE such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential warehouse duties safely and accurately.
• Ability to work in a freezer, cooler and dry environments as required.
• Must pass a functional capacity test and obtain receiving certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pallets received meet defined requirements.
• Enter/scan LPN, catch-weight, mfg date, exp date in the WMS using RF equipment.
• Record piece counts and weights against bills of lading and invoices.
• Inspect product for shortages, damage or quality issues and report.
• Record overages, shortages and damages on OS&D forms.
• Verify temperatures for refrigerated and frozen products per PWMs.
• Complete vendor compliance forms during receipt.
• Apply blind LPNs when needed.
• Operate dock doors, plates, lights and locks safely.
• Complete receiving certification and testing.
• Maintain neat, clean work areas and accurate warehouse locations.
• Ensure equipment is inspected, maintained and safe to operate.
• Adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
