Job summary

Sysco Jacksonville is seeking a warehouse associate to perform general warehouse functions including loading, unloading, receiving, put-away, and order selection, in freezer, cooler and dry environments.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, follow PWMs, maintain safety, and ensure accurate inventory. Requires certification or ability to obtain; high school or GED preferred; 18+; team player.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a functional capacity test.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to read and communicate with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Certification on material handling equipment is required, or the ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Follow warehouse system directed selection pick path and stage product for shipment.
• Stack and secure pallets to prevent damage.
• Operate MHE safely and complete daily inspections.
• Maintain clean work areas and report safety issues promptly.
• Record information in the warehouse management system.
