Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a hardworking Distribution Center Associate to maintain cleanliness and safety in our busy facility. You will perform routine housekeeping, manage spills, sort and dispose of waste, and help keep floors, docks and storage areas clean and safe for colleagues and equipment.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in cold and humid environments, and to operate powered equipment with proper certification.

Qualifications

• Environment with -12F to 34F and high humidity, requiring adaptability.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays in a 24/7 operation.
• Operate and certify powered equipment safely to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Collect and empty trash and sort recyclables daily.
• Mop spills and maintain clean, safe floors and docks.
• Perform general housekeeping and clear aisles for power equipment.
• Load pallets for recycling and handle damaged product promptly.
• Retrieve cases up to 32 feet using a man-up forklift.
• Sanitize and maintain storage areas and prepare for next shift.
