Job summary

Sysco Jacksonville is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for general warehouse tasks including receiving, put-away, order selection, staging, and replenishments while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

You'll operate MHE such as forklifts and pallet jacks, follow PWMs, and ensure accurate inventory and documentation in the warehouse management system, all while working in freezer, cooler, and dry environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and memos.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Comfort working in freezer/cooler and dry environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow pick paths to select, label, stage, and transport product.
• Stack pallets with heavier items on bottom to prevent damage.
• Secure pallets with shrink wrap per PWMs.
• Record item information in the warehouse system.
• Inspect products for shortages or damage and report issues.
• Complete pallet jack certification and operate PWMs safely.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and perform daily inspections.
