Job summary

Sysco Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform general warehouse duties including receiving, put-away, picking, loading/unloading, and replenishments with RF scanning and LPN usage. This role requires operating MHE and maintaining accurate records while following PWMs and safety procedures.

Applicants must meet physical requirements, work in cold and warm environments, and be capable of lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Must be able to observe and to communicate observations verbally and in written form to others responsible for the equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect pallets; ensure they meet defined requirements.
• Use RF to enter/scan LPN, catch-weight, manufacture date and expiration date.
• Record item information and verify counts against bills of lading and invoices.
• Operate MHE (forklifts/pallet jacks) safely and perform daily inspections.
• Follow PWMs and temperature controls for refrigerated and frozen products.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and warehouse locations.
• Adhere to safety rules and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
