Job summary

FreshPoint Southern California, Inc. is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to perform general warehouse tasks in a freezer, cooler and dry environment. You will load and unload products, perform put-away and picks, and ensure proper data entry for each lot and temperature checks per PWMs.

The role requires teamwork, basic math and good communication. Certifications on material handling equipment are required or must be obtained; competitive benefits exist through Sysco.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
• Material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Reach truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all general warehouse duties including loading, unloading, receiving, put-away, picks and replenishments as required.
• Enter and verify details in the warehouse management system using RF equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and follow PWMs; follow temperature controls for refrigerated/frozen products.
• Operate MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and report any repair needs.
