Job summary

Roskam Foods, a leading contract manufacturer, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator (Freezer) for our Kentwood, MI location. The role involves coordinating inbound/outbound trucks, creating BOLs, and managing dock assignments while maintaining accurate paperwork and customer service.

The position requires hands-on experience in shipping/receiving, strong organization, and effective communication to keep operations running smoothly in a busy freezer environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage documentation and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day office tasks (appointments, phones, etc.).
• Create BOLs and assign trucks to dock doors.
• Instruct Hi-Lo Ops on priorities and verify drivers IDs.
• Seal trailers and create switcher/shuttle moves.
• Bulk Receiving at M2 or Mazda and perform yard/refer checks.
• Ensure accuracy of paperwork and provide customer service.
• Control the flow of inbound/outbound trucks and perform other clerical tasks.
