Qualifications

• Experience operating lifting devices safely and efficiently.
• Ability to load/unload materials from pallets and transport devices.
• Capable of weighing materials and recording data accurately.
• Knowledge of FIFO and material forecasting to keep lines supplied.

Responsibilities

• Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it to ensure timely delivery.
• Manually or mechanically load/unload materials from pallets and other transport means.
• Position lifting devices under, over, or around pallets and secure material for transport.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight or production data on labels.
• Understand and follow the order of materials for FIFO.
• Forecast needs of the line and stage materials to maintain smooth production.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or material to identify defects and report through proper channels.
