Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate to perform general warehouse functions including loading, unloading, receiving, put-away, and order selection in a fast-paced environment. You will operate RF scanners, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain accurate inventory records while following PWMs and safety rules.

Responsibilities include verifying temperatures for refrigerated and frozen goods, recording discrepancies, and keeping work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Certification on material handling equipment is required, or the ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and ensure defined requirements are met.
• Enter/scan LPN, catch-weight, manufacture date, expiration date into WMS via RF equipment.
• Verify item information against bills of lading and invoices.
• Inspect products for shortages, damage, or quality issues and report to supervisor.
• Record overages, shortages and damages on the OS&D form.
• Monitor temperatures for cooler and frozen products per PWMs and act on deviations.
• Complete vendor compliance forms during receipt per PWMs.
• Follow PWMs for blind LPNs when manufacturer lacks license plates.
• Operate MHE safely and report issues to minimize damage.
• Maintain neat, clean work areas and accurate warehouse locations.
• Adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
